Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
1. About RaceReady
RaceReady is a digital planning tool for race-week nutrition and preparation.
This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use RaceReady, how that data is used, and what rights you may have in relation to it.
We aim to keep this Policy clear and practical. RaceReady is designed to minimize data collection where possible.
2. How RaceReady works
At this stage, RaceReady works as a local-first product.
That means:
- RaceReady does not create an in-app user account;
- RaceReady does not store your plan in a cloud account;
- your generated plan and planning inputs are stored locally on your device;
- checkout and payment are handled through Lemon Squeezy;
- after generating your plan, you may download a PDF copy.
Because plan data is stored locally, some parts of your RaceReady experience happen directly on your device rather than through a personal account with us.
3. Who is responsible for your data
The controller responsible for personal data described in this Privacy Policy is:
Maksim Urazaev, trading as RaceReady
Address: Lydia-Rabinowitsch-Straße 20, 10557 Berlin, Germany
Email: support@raceready.health
If you have any privacy-related questions or requests, you can contact us at support@raceready.health.
4. What data we process
Depending on how you use RaceReady, we may process the following categories of data.
A. Planning data stored locally on your device
When you use RaceReady, the app may process:
- questionnaire and planning inputs;
- race-related preferences;
- basket selections;
- generated plan data;
- language and interface preferences;
- locally saved settings.
This data is stored locally on your device and is not linked to an in-app user account.
B. Payment and order data
When you make a purchase, checkout and payment are handled through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for purchases made through its checkout flow.
As part of that process, Lemon Squeezy may process data such as:
- your email address;
- order and transaction identifiers;
- purchase details;
- billing-related information;
- refund or chargeback status;
- subscription or order status, where applicable.
We do not store your full payment card details ourselves.
C. Technical and operational data
We and our service providers may process limited technical data needed to operate and secure the product, such as:
- device and browser information;
- IP-related request data;
- basic logs;
- performance, security, or error diagnostics.
D. Analytics and usage data
If analytics are enabled, we may process limited product and attribution data, such as:
- referrer information;
- UTM parameters;
- page or screen views;
- onboarding and funnel step events;
- checkout-related events;
- plan generation events;
- PDF download events;
- aggregated or event-based usage statistics.
We use this information to understand where users come from, how they move through the product, which steps they complete, and how the product performs at a basic marketing and product level.
At this stage, we aim to keep analytics limited and proportionate to those purposes.
E. Support communications
If you contact us directly, we may process:
- your email address;
- your message;
- attachments or screenshots you choose to send;
- any information you include in your request.
5. What we do not intend to collect
RaceReady is not intended to operate as a medical service.
We do not intend to collect:
- diagnosis-level medical records;
- free-form medical histories as part of normal product use;
- health insurance information;
- payment card details stored by us;
- in-app account credentials, because there is currently no in-app account system.
We do not currently intend to use advertising pixels or complex remarketing trackers as part of the core product experience.
Please do not send sensitive medical information unless it is strictly necessary for a support request.
6. Why we process data
We process data only where needed for purposes such as:
- providing the product experience;
- generating and displaying your plan;
- enabling checkout, payment, refunds, and order management;
- providing customer support;
- maintaining security and preventing abuse;
- understanding product usage and improving the service;
- measuring product and marketing performance;
- complying with legal, tax, accounting, and consumer protection obligations.
7. Legal bases for processing
Depending on the context, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- performance of a contract — for example, to provide the product you purchased, support the checkout flow, and respond to service-related requests;
- legitimate interests — for example, to operate, secure, improve, and analyze the product, prevent abuse, and understand product usage;
- legal obligations — for example, where we must keep order, tax, accounting, or legal compliance records;
- consent — where required for specific optional processing, such as certain analytics or marketing communications, depending on your setup and applicable law.
8. Local storage and risk of data loss
RaceReady stores plan data locally on your device.
This means that if you:
- clear browser data;
- reset your browser;
- remove local app data; or
- switch devices,
your locally stored plan data may be lost.
For that reason, we recommend downloading the generated PDF so you have a separate copy of your plan.
9. Sharing and service providers
We may share limited personal data with service providers where necessary to operate the product and related business processes.
These may include providers for:
- checkout and payments;
- hosting and infrastructure;
- analytics;
- email delivery;
- support tools;
- error monitoring and security diagnostics.
At the moment, this may include:
- Lemon Squeezy for checkout, merchant-of-record purchase handling, payment-related operations, and order management;
- Vercel for hosting and infrastructure;
- analytics or diagnostic providers, if enabled in the future.
We may also disclose data where required by law or where necessary to protect legal rights, prevent fraud, or respond to lawful requests.
10. International data transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside your country of residence.
Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for international data transfers under applicable data protection law.
11. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
In general:
- locally stored planning data remains on your device until it is deleted by you, removed by browser or device actions, or overwritten by your own use;
- order and payment-related records may be kept as long as necessary for accounting, tax, refund, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance purposes;
- support messages may be retained as long as needed to handle your request and maintain reasonable support history;
- analytics, log, and technical records may be retained for limited operational or reporting periods.
We may retain certain information longer where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
12. Your rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights such as:
- the right to be informed;
- the right of access;
- the right to correct inaccurate data;
- the right to request deletion;
- the right to restrict processing;
- the right to object to certain processing;
- the right to data portability where applicable;
- the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, contact us at support@raceready.health.
We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.
13. Children
RaceReady is not intended for children as a standalone paid consumer product.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe that personal data of a child has been provided to us improperly, please contact us.
14. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps designed to protect personal data and reduce the risk of unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no system can be completely secure, and no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely safe.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
If our analytics or tracking setup changes materially in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and, where required, provide additional notice or consent mechanisms.
The latest version will always be the version made available through the product or associated pages.
